Meanwhile, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu announced that the state has attracted a staggering $6 billion technology fund, underlining Lagos’ role as the driving force of Nigeria’s digital transformation.

Industry giants such as MTN Nigeria also weighed in, with CEO Karl Toriola noting that the ICT sector’s ambition to contribute 21% to Nigeria’s GDP by 2027 will only be achievable through stable policies and flexible pricing models.
