In short Dedon Tech is a technology publication written by Amedu Danjuma, a technology specialist based in Nigeria. It publishes in-depth analysis, comparisons and practical guides on legal technology, insurance technology, fintech, AI tools and B2B SaaS for businesses and professionals in the US, UK, Canada and beyond — with a focus on vendor evaluation, compliance architecture, pricing structures and feature gaps. Articles are checked against primary sources, and the editorial policy explains the process.

Who writes this site

Dedon Tech is written by Amedu Danjuma, a technology specialist based in Nigeria who has worked in software development since 2016. Every article on the site is written or reviewed by a named person. There is no anonymous "editorial team" — if you want to know who wrote something, the byline tells you.

One thing worth being clear about: I am a technologist, not a lawyer, accountant or financial adviser. That shapes what this site is good at and what it is not. When an article covers legal software, the value is in the technology evaluation — how the systems work, where they fail, what to check before signing. When it covers Canadian tax rules or UK insurance regulation, the legal and regulatory claims are cited to primary sources rather than to personal professional experience, and the editorial policy explains how that verification works.

Why the site covers regulated industries: technology decisions in legal, insurance and finance are made by people who have to justify them to someone else — a managing partner, a compliance officer, a board. That means the evaluation has to be rigorous and the trade-offs have to be stated honestly. Those are the articles I wanted to write, and those are the readers this site is built for.

What Dedon Tech covers

⚖️ Legal technology

AI legal software, case management platforms, agentic workflows, HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance for firms handling protected health information.

🚗 Insurance technology

Telematics and usage-based car insurance, UK and Canadian insurance products, claims automation and how insurers actually price risk.

💰 Fintech

Tax-loss harvesting automation, robo-advisors, open banking, crypto tax reporting and how automated financial systems handle rules.

💼 B2B SaaS

Project management, HR and security software comparisons — with real pricing, automation limits and the trade-offs vendors don't lead with.

🔧 Web & software development

The technical roots of the site: PHP, web development, security patches, SEO and Blogger — the work that came before the regulated-industry coverage.

🤖 AI systems

How AI tools actually behave — where they are genuinely useful, where they produce compounding errors, and what supervision they require.

How articles are researched

Every factual claim, price and product detail is checked against a primary source before publication — usually the vendor's own documentation, a regulator's published guidance, or the relevant statute or audit standard. Where a figure cannot be independently verified, the article says so rather than presenting it as established.

AI tools are used for research assistance and drafting, but not for publication without human editing and verification. Every legal and regulatory citation is checked against the actual source, because AI tools invent citations and courts have sanctioned attorneys for filing them.

The full methodology — including how corrections are handled, how products are selected for comparison, and how advertising is separated from editorial — is set out in the editorial policy.

What this site is not

Dedon Tech publishes general information about technology. It does not provide legal, tax, financial or insurance advice, and reading it does not create any professional relationship. Articles in regulated categories carry a disclaimer for that reason.

Nothing on this site should be read as a recommendation to buy any specific product. Where an article discusses a product, it is describing how that product works and what to check — not advising you to purchase it. For advice about your own situation, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.

Advertising and independence

Dedon Tech is supported by display advertising and may earn commission from some links. Neither affects editorial conclusions. We do not accept payment for a favourable review, a ranking position or inclusion in a comparison table, and where a vendor has provided access or information, the article discloses it.

The full disclosure, including how affiliate links are labelled, is in the editorial policy.
