How to Retrieve your National Identification Management Commission (NIMC)

Have you registered your NIN and you have lost or forget it, don’t worry, with the NIMC’s USSD service you can retrieve back your National Identification Number (NIN).

You have Forgotten your NIN? Perhaps you can not remember where you kept your NIN slip? Not to worry, NIMC’s USSD service allows you to retrieve your NIN conveniently using your Android Phone/mobile phone.

This service is currently available only on the Airtel and 9mobile networks.

To use this service, simply go through the following steps:

·         Be sure to use the same registered phone line you provided during your NIN enrolment

·         Dial *346#

·         Read the message on your phone screen displaying your NIN

·         Note that using this service attracts a N20 (twenty naira) fee only (deducted from your phone     credit balance).
